Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Review

After seeing loads of this brand plastered all over Instagram, I decided to cave in a make an order. I decided to purchase them on Beauty Bay, and of course, they are Makeup Geek eyeshadows.
I have been eyeing these up for a little while now after hearing such great things about them, and wow I’m pleased I bought them.

I purchased 3 colours: Mango Tango, Frappe & Cocoa Bear. Frappe and Cocoa Bear are very typical makeup hoarder colours, I think most people own these, and I don’t blame them!

These eyeshadows are so inexpensive coming in at £4.95 per eyeshadow on Beauty Bay. They have such good pigmentation and are easily buildable and blendable. I really like the feel of the eyeshadows, they’re super light on your eyelids and are so soft.

Frappe is a gorgeous warm toned light brown which is great as a crease colour, it adds some definition to you eye when used in the crease. You can use a small amount of the shadow to create a really natural eye look but build it up if you want something more dramatic. It can also work as a great transition colour when working with warm toned nudes. I can tell I’m going to get a lot of use out of this colour!

Cocoa Bear is a warm toned dark brown which works perfectly as an outer crease colour to make a darker eye look but still quite natural as it blends out like a dream. I love pairing this with Frappe to give a more defined look.

Mango Tango is a stunning pinky orange colour which is so suitable for summertime. It adds a pop of colour to the eyelid but still nice and subtle. This is perfect to put on your lid and use Frappe as the crease colour. As they blend together, it creates a lovely pinky nude transition in the outer corner. I really like this as a day look in the summer as I feel you can get away with more colour. This is super pigmented so you don't need a lot of product on your brush otherwise you’ll have a super pink eyelid!

I really like the packaging for these eyeshadows, they come in 2 cardboard sleeves as they are a pan. You can immediately tell that they are by Makeup Geek because there is the striking pink and white diagonal stripes across the outer packaging.
I would totally recommend getting these eyeshadows as they are such good value for money as they aren’t expense and are really good!
Also, if you are thinking of buying any, I would say get them from Beauty Bay as there delivery is so quick in just 2 days and if you spend £15 you get delivery free.

Have you tried any of these eyeshadows? What do you think of them? Have you tried any others?

Lots of Love
